A Day in the Life at Equip Academy
At Equip Academy, every day begins and ends with Circle Time — a special space where students build community, set intentions, and reflect together. Then, the learning begins:
Phonics Power Hour: 90 minutes of daily phonics instruction to lay the foundation for strong reading skills.
Small Group Reading: Targeted instruction where students get the personalized support they need.
Writing & Math: Students tackle rigorous content that helps them think critically and solve real-world problems.
Enrichment Through Dance: Movement matters! Students get the chance to express themselves and stay active.
Recess & Social Play: We believe in joy. Kids have ample time to play, recharge, and build friendships every day.
🕒 Bell Schedule
Doors Open for Breakfast: 7:30 AM
Instruction Begins: Promptly at 8:00 AM
Dismissal:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – 3:00 PM
Early Dismissal on Wednesdays – 1:30 PM (for our teacher excellence training institute)
👕 Student Uniforms (Quick Overview)
Tops: White polo with Equip Academy logo (one short-sleeve shirt provided at the start of the year; additional items available for purchase)
Bottoms: Solid black slacks or shorts (1–2 inches above the knee)
Shoes: Velcro and all black recommended (not required)
🥗 Breakfast, Lunch & Snacks
Breakfast: Grab-and-go style, served daily starting at 7:30 AM
Lunch: Hot meals provided to all students
Snack: Please send a healthy snack daily (no candy, soda, or juice)
After School Program
Our after-school care runs until 6:00 PM, providing a safe, engaging place for continued learning and play.
